Scar Tissue
Scar tissue refers to the fibrous connective tissue that forms at the site of a wound or injury as part of the body's natural healing process. It is composed of collagen and other proteins that help to bind and strengthen the damaged tissue.
Scar tissue may appear raised, discolored, or thickened compared to the surrounding skin. While it can sometimes be unsightly, scar tissue is usually harmless and does not require treatment. However, in some cases, it may cause functional problems, such as limiting mobility or causing pain or discomfort.
Various factors can influence the development of scar tissue, including the size and depth of the wound, the location on the body, the individual's age and genetics, and the presence of infection or other complications.
Scar Tissue blocks energy flow through the body, whether its on the surface (skin) or deeper in the body or organs. Using acupuncture and Frequency Specific Microcurrent, energy blockages created by scar tissue can be unblocked. Pain caused from scars can be alleviated and movement restored. Anyone that has had surgery or any injury that induced scars will most likely benefit. Cesarean scars and Tummy Tucks can leave patients less flexible with decreased mobility. My clinical experience has shown that within only a couple sessions, patients are feeling incredible relief/results.
